Career Summary
Since Spring 2010 I have been working as a freelance TV and radio
journalist. Up until March I was working for the Channel M Television
in Manchester as a reporter, presenter and producer before the
station ceased production of original news content.
Previously I studied for a Bachelor of Broadcasting degree at the University of Leeds. My professional career began at Minster FM in North Yorkshire in 2002. After six months there I spent five and a half years working for Real Radio Yorkshire which is based in Leeds but broadcasts to the whole of West and South Yorkshire.
The highlight of my career so far is being named in the final four for the IRN Reporter of the Year award in 2007. During my time at Real Radio my work also featured on the team's winning entries at the NTL/Arqiva awards, along with nominations at the Sony awards and New York Festival awards.
